Liverpool Clinical Laboratories (LCL) is a multidisciplinary, clinically-led NHS pathology service providing a full range of high quality diagnostic, autopsy and specialist pathology services to GP’s, Hospital Trusts and Healthcare Providers in the North-West of England.
LCL works primarily on the diagnosis of diseases but we also evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and undertake research into the causes and cures of disease, processing over 2 million sample tests each year.
Our laboratories are fully accredited by Clinical Pathology Accreditation (CPA) , the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Human Tissue Authority (HTA).
