Alyson Constantine became Chief Operating Officer at Liverpool Clinical Laboratories in 2018.

She originally qualified as a Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Chemistry at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, North Wales, becoming a senior and the laboratory specialist in Diabetes.

After 15 years in Pathology and gaining a Masters in Business & Administration, Alyson transitioned into General Management in the NHS, working in both Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, before a spell in industry, prior to returning as a Director of Commissioning at the Health Board in Wales.

Alyson spent seven years at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust from 2009 to 2016, which preceded a two year tenure at The Royal Liverpool Hospital NHS Trust as Deputy Director of Operations before joining LCL.

She is passionate about the opportunity to provide vital services for our patients and believes that the great work we do can only be achieved by working with our dedicated staff.
