Lisa Bailey has been Clinical Director for Blood Sciences at Liverpool Clinical Laboratories since 2014 and a Consultant Clinical Scientist in Biochemistry at the Royal Liverpool Hospital since 2007.
Lisa’s main clinical interest is in Endocrinology and drives to keep Liverpool Clinical Laboratories as a specialist referral centre for specialist endocrine tests.
Currently, Lisa is Clinical Lead for Blood Sciences for the Cheshire and Merseyside network and has recently completed an MSc in Leadership and Management at Liverpool Business School. Lisa is keen to utilise her skills in leadership and change management and her experience of bringing two large Blood Science teaching hospital laboratories together harmonising clinical and technical practices to develop the Cheshire and Merseyside network further.
Outside of work Lisa has two sons and enjoys escaping at the weekend touring the UK in her VW campervan.
